This is THE perfect illustration for my life as of now.

I have been unemployed now for way too long. In the meantime, I created a project that was both fun and helped to generate some revenue for the fam, and although that has kept me busy, it hasn’t been “enough”. You know?

For those who have been following me for the past year and a half, you know that losing my job was a horrible setback, not to mention my parents’ divorce, I lost a very dear friend, the ever-few-mentions of step-parenthood, the affirmations of a failed marriage AND a successful one, and a poor business decision in which I lost a friend (that post has since been deleted). 

Well, I am proud to reveal that this here post is a post of renewal in that as of this week… I finally landed my dream job. I will start this upcoming Thursday, and I cannot wait. Seriously… the following is a very diluted version of the past 7 days for me. 8 interviews for 3 different companies. I had already ranked them, but when I received an official offer via email while walking with my mom out of her company’s lobby… we squealed. And we cried. It is THE perfect occupational fit, if there ever was one!

And in all of that, I received the most beautiful, overwhelming out-pour of texts, calls, emails, etc from friends and family, alike. Rooting for me. Cheering me on. And that, in of itself, is a spectacular thing to marvel over. Man, I am so loved. 

Some other loose ends have finally been tied up, too, and you guys… my heart is SO FULL right now. As in, I FINALLY feel back to the “old me”. Well, with a renewed spirit and an arsenal of lessons learned. But what I really mean is… my optimistims, my enthusiams, my overall zest is back/ And the only words I can come up with…

HELL TO THA YEAH!!!!
